Walking & Biking
Singer Island's compact, linear layout makes it surprisingly walkable for a barrier island community. Ocean Drive and Blue Heron Boulevard serve as the main arteries, with oceanfront sidewalks and paths connecting condo communities to beaches, restaurants, and parks. Many residents walk or bike to the beach daily — a genuine luxury of island living.
John D. MacArthur Beach State Park offers boardwalk nature trails winding through mangrove forests and coastal hammock, perfect for walking, birdwatching, and nature photography before opening onto a pristine, uncrowded beach. The park's trails are among the most scenic walking experiences in Palm Beach County.
Cyclists enjoy flat, scenic rides along the island's main roads, with connecting routes across the Blue Heron Bridge to the mainland and north to Juno Beach via A1A. Phil Foster Park on the island's western side provides waterfront walking paths with views of the Intracoastal. The island's small footprint means most daily needs — beach, dining, and recreation — are within a short walk or bike ride from nearly any residence.
